St Leonards Estate gets into 'The Ashes' cricket spirit
St Leonards Estate residents joined Creating Communities, Progress Developments and Little Group for a game of community cricket, fun in the photo booth and a picnic in the park, followed by a special outdoor screening of The Life of Pi on Saturday 7 December.
The Swans District Football Development Council (SDFDC) has capped off another successful AFL 9s Progress Developments Cup. The revolutionary competition, which is played under lights at Baskerville Reserve, is proudly supported by SDFDC Principal Partner, Progress Developments. The Progress Developments Cup saw 10 weeks of spirited competition from 120 kids sourced from the broad scope of the SDFDC including Chittering, High Wycombe, Kalamunda, Mundaring, Swan View and Upper Swan.
St Leonards recently held a fun pizza-making event in Walter Day Park (St Leonard Park), so that residents could get to know their neighbours better and be part of a community conversation about how to make St Leonards an even better place to live.
There was a fantastic turnout, with over 130 locals attending. The pizza classes were a hit and everyone got to enjoy the results!
